Successful acquisitions are usually of businesses that are not “listed” for sale, but the Owner wants to sell the business. This group is for business buyers and firms (CPA, attorney, CFP, bankers, …) who have clients interested in confidentially selling businesses, but not listing them for sale.

Are you searching for a business to buy, but have not been successful in closing on a business acquisition deal yet? Have you only looked at businesses “listed” for sale?

·         This group is for people/companies that want to buy a privately-held small or mid-sized business (but, not under $500,000 in value) and who realize that most successful acquisitions are usually of businesses that are not “listed” for sale.

·         This group is also for CPAs, attorneys, financial planners, estate planners, business appraisers, and commercial bankers who have clients interested in confidentially selling a business(es), but want a very private transaction and do not want it known that they are marketing their business for sale. Many business owners are willing to talk to one party about selling their business (as an alternative to listing it for sale) because they are not "marketing" their business for sale.

·         Finally, because there are lots of Business Brokers/Merger & Acquisition firms that represent Sellers (who have many websites available to market their listed businesses), this group is also open only to Business Brokers/M&A firms that represent a client(s) who want to buy a business.

·         This group also concerns only business acquisitions in the USA that have historically had positive cash flow (i.e. Not real estate acquisitions, nor early stage companies that need venture capital. Buyers located outside the USA who want to buy a business(es) in the USA are welcome to join. However, this group is not for sellers located outside the USA. Companies with historically substantial revenue/cash flow that are now turnarounds are welcome.)

As some point, every business owner does exit planning or considers selling his/her business; this is the group for those long-term advisors that help them.
